Proposal of Implementation of the Environmental Protection Area (APA) of the Camanducaia River Basin - São Paulo/Minas Gerais


The NMA is conducting a series of studies to help IBAMA implement the "Environmental Protection Area in the Camanducaia River Basin". This area of more than 2,000km2, belong to 15 counties and is in the process of environmental characterization to form a digital cartographic base, using techniques of remote sensing and geographic information systems.

These information are becoming available in the Internet, to interested people, directly or indirectly, with the creation of the Camanducaia River Basin APA (Area of Environmental Protection), so they can inform authorities about how they feel about this project.
