In the first phase of this study a digital cartographic base of the area in the scale 1:250.000 was made with nine information plans:
A detailed and complementar study of the initial studies are being conducted to subsidy IBAMA in the elaboration of a technical justification to create the APA. In a later phase, an environmental zonning in the 1:50,000 scale will divide this region into 5 areas of differentiate regions (restrict, directed, controled, social interest and wildlife) which will be regulated by the general APA norms and of a regional and local fiscalization system.
